DIGITAL MUSIC PRODUCTS - DMP公司是美国一家老牌蚊型唱片公司，蚊型就是规模很小的意思，但是这家唱片公司很有自己的特点，他们只采用数字技术来处理和录制唱片而且只出版爵士音乐专辑。虽然DMP是最早进入中国大陆的发烧唱片公司之一，但是近几年却很少见其踪影，这也和他们专辑的单一性不无关系，毕竟爵士音乐在中国还只为部分人群接受。

 

这张专辑是DMP出版的精选合辑，和以前出版的一张合辑一样，封面都是以黑猫为图案，所以称之为《新黑猫》。
