Ferguson`s trumpet reaches hights that hurt the ears and the band around him plays a highly energetic straight ahead jazz capturing you from the start with their thrilling interpretations an furious playing.

The sound of the disc is a bit compressed, lacking some timbre and air for the individual instruments.
